If you explore the Greenpath carefully, you'll come across the mysterious Hunter in his lair.

'What's everyone's favourite part of any game? That's right - filling out a bestiary by killing bad guys! Then reading about them! At least, it's one of our favourite bits, so we couldn't resist adding the feature to Hollow Knight. The Hunter's Journal was first revealed in a Kickstarter update:.Record all of Hallownest's creatures in the Hunter's Journal. Not required for Keen Hunter achievement. If they were overcome by the Infection before being killed, their corpses can be inspected to obtain the entry.Įntry can be obtained in the Teacher's Archives after inspecting a tank.Įntry is unlocked after defeating all Watcher Knights. In order to see the number of creatures encountered and the total number required to complete the journal, the World Sense ability must be acquired.įull entry is already unlocked after obtaining the Hunter's Journal.Įntry can be obtained in the Forgotten Crossroads by inspecting a fossilised Goam. See the entry list below for details on which entries are not required. There are 146 entries which are required for the Keen Hunter Achievement. This means that the Journal only counts 164 entries. However, four of these entries, the Hunter's Mark, Seal of Binding, Void Idol, and Weathered Mask, do not increase the total entry count. A total of 168 entries can be acquired for the Hunter's Journal.
